Life Happens

I've been sort of neglecting this blogging thing lately, and I miss it, so I'm going to try and get back into the swing of things..... within the next couple days. Not that a ton of people read my blog, but I enjoy it, so what the heck, i'm gonna do it for me.... ( I know that was a run on sentence, i've been doing those since grade school i'm sure, i'm a lost cause )

Not to much is new with me thats worth reporting. Had a rough two weeks at work, running the restuarant while my general manager was on holidays. He came home, ... received some rather unpleasant news from my best friend....... still sort of reeling from that shock...... now my holidays await. Two days till I leave for Oregon, and 5 days till I fly out of seattle to go to bakersfield California, to visit Janelle and Ed.

Until then, I work one shift, and spend a day with Ethan..... what a sweetie he is :)

The Olympics in Turin, or Turino..... are ongoing. Keeping a close eye on Todd Bertuzzi and Team Canada. I cannot believe that Steve Moore filed a civil suit against Todd for 19.5 million dollars, right as the hockey part of the olympics started. 19.5 million dollars, i can't even fathom that amount of money.... to me, it just seems like an awful lot of money for a marginal third / fourth liner...... Don't get me wrong, I think Moore should get something... what Bertuzzi did went over and beyond the line............. but 19.5 million dollars? Give me a break..... Granted we do not know the Extent of Moore's injuries, but.... i dont know.. that seems a bit much to me.

Lets just hope that the filing of this civil suit, does not distract Bertuzzi from the task at hand, which is helping to win a gold medal for Canada in Olympic Mens Hockey.

Seems the Canadian Womans team, is well on their way to doing the same.

GO TEAM CANADA !!!
Speaking of Distractions..... whats with all this gambling scandal involving Rick Tocchet, and Janet Gretzky, Possibly involving hockeys golden child Wayne Gretzky. Wayne Gretzky's denies any knowledge of it, and I"m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. But I certainly hope it isn't a distraction for Wayne or the team over in TURIN, ITALY
