the holiday season is just about over

FINALLY !

Wow, this has got to be the craziest holiday season I've ever endured. It all started with my car incident. After that, it just went downhill from there! From being really behind on my christmas shopping, work being really frustrating, Unreliable staff, short staffed at work most of the time, to having a friend of the family pass away in a car accident just after Christmas, it has not been a good holiday season at all. There were spurts of enjoyment, moments when all was right with the world, but, its been a tough month and a half !

I sure hope that the new year ahead of us, isn't quite so stressful.

Happy New Year

my goal : find hockey tickets

December 18th - I SUCCEEDED ! I managed to get two tickets to the game on monday night, december 19th GO CANUCKS GO ! :)

I seem to be falling far short of my goal of procuring some hockey tickets to the game on monday night.

I've tried ticket master, No seats together -

I'm working on ebay, I always seem to get outbid the last few minutes.

It was easier to get tickets when the team wasn't doing so good !

Alls I want is to go to a game, one would think that that would be an easy goal to accomplish ! But not in this town. Not in this town !

I won't give up ! ..... I will keep trying, and one day soon I hope i'll be able to find tickets, so I can go to at least one game this season ! :)

GO CANUCKS GO !

My sweet Little Nephew

Ethan was over today, and he ate lunch on the counter this afternoon. Talking a mile a minute to Grandma. He Loves CHEEZWHIZ ~

What a sweetie, I'm sorry I missed him. I unfortunately had to work today, so I missed spending time with him.

A Canucks Win for my Birthday?

Thats all I wanted. A win from my Canucks, and they delivered.

Beating the New York Rangers 3-2. A big welcome back to Matt Cooke, a big welcome to the #1 starting goalie position to Alex Auld.

It being announced today, that Cloutier has suffered a season ending injury, and will be undergoing surgery on dec 15 to repair his acl ( anterior cruciate ligament ) I feel for the guy, i really do :)

life will go on, Let's hope that Alex Auld, can fill the #1 position... and bring on the wins :)

So far so good !

What a gorgeous Sweater

My dearest Cousin Janelle, bought me this beautiful sweater for my ( dare I say it ) 28th Birthday. Isn't it beautiful :)

I really love it. She has amazingly good taste, ... and she is a wonderful person. I would have to say that she takes after me :)

ha ha

Seriously though, Its an awesome sweater, I put it on, and I feel pretty, oh so pretty, so witty, so wild ! :)

Thanks Janelle, it was very sweet of you to remember my birthday and get me such a great sweater. and I had the perfect skirt to match! :)

what are the chances of that :)

I MISS YOU JANELLE

WHY ?

WHAT A GAME !

I know I know, I'm a bit late in writing this :) I've been busy since the end of the game last night :) Still in euphoria, over the victory, I so thought Ottawa was gonna win. I was happy to be proved WRONG. Why can't they play like that more often? That was one of the most entertaining games I've seen all season :)

Nail biting, edge of your seat excitement. Especially the shootout ! It was incredible :)

Bertuzzi, made his presence felt, Probably the most complete game he's played all season. KEEP IT UP !
ALEX AULD was great, making the saves when he had to, and stopping just enough shooters in the shootout, to enable the Canucks to win the game :)

WE ROCK

GO CANUCKS GO

Canucks Record At Home an astounding 13-1 ( for those of you who are hockey challenged, that means thirteen wins, and one loss )

The latest saga of my car

Well, My car is back ! Nothing but good things to say about Sunshine Autobody. My car looks brand new. Its amazing what fixing up some dents, washing my car, and cleaning the inside will do eh? :)

My car was in for a week. I'm so IMPRESSED with the job they did ! Considering when I dropped my car off, it was a disaster inside. Toys from having Ethan, tupperware, that my brother had borrowed and was returning.... it was a mess. They very nicely cleaned it up for me, and put everything in two big bags that said Sunshine Autobody on it. I felt kinda bad about the mess, I claim extenuating circumstances though. I was a bit upset, with everything that had happened.

Its great having my car back. I never realized how attached I was to it, till I was without it for a week :)

Still no word on Petro Canada. I paid the deductible, and I await word from ICBC, on whose' at fault. I've heard they usually send a letter to let you know what they have decided happened. Whatever happens happens, to quote Todd Bertuzzi " It is what it is "

My car is fixed and thats the main thing :)

Car in getting fixed

My icbc appointment went good. My claims adjuster phoned petro canada, and got on them for not filing the car wash incident report - ( the manager of the gas station sounded like he was being a real JERK to her ) After the damage had all got estimated, and they had done whatever it is that they do there, I drove off, intent on finding SUNSHINE AUTOBODY. I wanted to get my car in to get fixed as soon as possible, with the weather the way it has been, I didn't want any more rust to appear.

I found Sunshine Autobody, the girls there were totally helpful, and i'm at ease, knowing they are taking good care of my car ! and I can still get to work, since they gave me a courtesy car :)

I can't wait to have my car back ! Its really neat though, they actually have a website that you can go to and see how far they have gotten on your car, and what step they are on now :) I thought it was cool anyway :)

Now, I just need to keep my fingers crossed, that with all the investigation that will go on, that the investigators will find me not at fault ! .....

ICBC Meeting November 29 @ 9 am

Well, tommorrow I go in for my meeting. I'm a little unsure how its all gonna go down. I've never had to take a car into ICBC before... so keep your fingers crossed that all goes well....

Its pretty embarrassing driving my car right now. As my sweet lil nephew is calling it, "aunty's Junker"... which pretty much sums up how I feel about it right now......

I went out to my car this afternoon, and the door is already starting to rust in spots! Rust is not supposed to happen this quickly.....

I do hope my meeting goes okay, and I can get my car into the autobody shop soon, and get it fixed !

no more will i venture into automatic car washes.....

I still haven't heard from Petro Canada, which is not good customer relations at all. There should be a 24-48 hour limit by which you have to get back to the customer!... Let me tell you Petro Can, just lost my business for life, and my family's, and my friends, and everyone else that I can tell about this horrid experience !!!

DOWN WITH PETRO CANADA

okay enough excitement

I think I should have kept my mouth shut about never having anything exciting happen to me. Today was a doozy of a day !

It started off with the best of intentions. My nice new dodge sx 2.0 (2004) was dirty, it needed a good washing. I thought i'd take the lazy way, and just run it thru a car wash. Worst decision I ever made !

I took it to Petro Canada, on 56th and 200th.. filled up with gas, and bought a carwash.( 42.99) i entered the carwash... not expecting anything horrible to happen. If I could have only forseen the future ...... I never would have gone in.....

Near the end of the car wash.... my car... if you can believe this, gets stuck. The machinery in the carwash, doesn't eject my car like it is supposed to. It attempts to... but instead of going forward, and out of the carwash, i go a little bit forward, and then roll back. This happens about 5 or 6 times. I"m totally freaking by this time.......have you ever heard of anyone being 'stuck" in a car wash? Anyway, I somehow got out of it...... but in the process, My side mirror, gets ripped off, and all along the passenger side of the car, it is scraped, scratched, dented..... It is painful to look at !

Before this happened, there was nary a scratch. I was pretty proud of myself. I"ve had my car for more than a year now... and I've taken pretty good care of it. Till now........

Everytime I look at my car now, it makes me really *sad*

and to make matter worse, I had to go into work right after this happened. I was a basket case... I was crying all the way in... I know I know that sounds really stupid, ........ and then at work everyone was like whats wrong? so I attempted to tell them, and I started crying again....( I think I was still in shock or something who knows)

Granted, it is just a car ( that cost me alot of hard earned money) and it didn't involve anyone else, No one was hurt (except my feelings) Good thing I have comprehensive.... here's hoping ICBC covers it, and hopefully Petro Canada, will chip in something. There is no way that this should have happened !

but happen it did............... for reasons that are way beyond my comprehension at this point !!

touchless car washes, and coin operated do it yourself carwashes are the thing for me from now on... I've learned my lesson!

Another Win

Kesler breaks out :

well if you call scoring a goal breaking out :) It was great to see the kid finally score. He hadn't done much for a while, so it was nice to see. Not only did he score, it was the game winning goal. The canucks win, 3- 1 .

I was at work, unfortunately, so i couldn't give the game the attention it so deserved. But I did my best. It sounded like it was an exciting game, hardly any penalties, lots of flow. must have been nice. A nice change from the last couple games where there was a penalty called every minute and a half, or it sure felt like it anyway :)

Auld played well, Naslund, Kesler and Henrik Sedin scored.... and the canucks record at home is now 9 - 1 . Not to shabby !

Its great to see the Canucks win. Not that I expected them to do anything else, against the Hawks. But you know how this team is sometimes :)

GO CANUCKS GO

life is busy, always hectic

Sorry to all you faithful blog readers ( ha ha , I dont think there is many of you ) Life has been keeping me ever so busy lately. Work, thats what I"ve been doing alot of lately, and when I do get home, I don't much feel like spending alot of time on my computer. Plus, Nothing too exciting has happened to me, that I can blog about anyway :) ha ha

I have now been at my new job for two months, or just over two months, and looking back, i would have to say, that its the best decision I ever made :) so far anyway :)

I'm much happier, and I get better shifts! :)

I have my days, when I hate my job, and I never want to go back, but I think everyone has those days.....

Life is good !!!

Way To Go Todd !

TODD IS BACK !

loyal canuck fans can only hope ! The last three games he's scored, and tonight, he scored three times. Showing that the Todd of two, three years ago, still is alive and well! :)

Todd scores three, the team wins 4-1 against Detroit, the top team in the west. Coincidence, I think not. When Todd is on top of his game, the rest of the team follows!

Not only did Todd have a good game tonite, scoring three goals, two of them on breakaways, but Dan CLoutier, stood on his head. ANd if it wasn't for Salo, feeling sorry for the wings, he could have had a shut out. Way to go Dan, welcome back ! .. Glad to see you have recovered from you concussion! :)

Making the stops when you had too, and making some great saves look easy.

Yay, the canucks snap their losing skid, and maintain their lead in the division

it would have been nice if they could have maintained a 60 minute effort, but, who's complaining. we won. Granted we only had one shot in the third period..... but Detroit didn't score, cuz Cloutier ROcks! :)

Bring on the Sharks......

bring an another win !

Nov 7, 2005

how much more of this........

WHAT A FRUSTRATING GAME ! ~ don't get me wrong, I love my team, I love this game.... but tonite... I dont know......

It was great to see Vintage Todd again, when he scored his goal..... there is hope .....

BUT WE SHOULD HAVE WON THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

too many penalties................................ not enough effort..................

playing one good period, will not be enough to win many games!

Where's the cooker when you need him. He's always a good one to add intensity!

and what the heck was jovo smokin tonite?

you'll have to excuse my rantings, I'm just an upset, irrational Canucks fan

Nov 5, 2005

blah blah blah

Its been a while since my last post here. My only excuses... I"ve been working lots, keeping pretty busy, and nothing really exciting has happened to me personally. I guess there is always hockey to write about, but, even then, that hasn't been extremely excited either! :)

Work, well, its going good for the most part! I'm still enjoying it.... mostly Ha ha.. after all it is still work, and every so often I kinda wish that I didn't have to work for a living! :)

life is good!~

i'll try and write more often again :)

More on MOORE

It seems that reporters, just can't seem to let it go. Before every pre game scrum, and post game scrum, inevitably, the question pops up .... " so about that colorado game this saturday, how do you feel it will go, seeing as how this is the first game since the 'incident'? "

I'd like to forget the whole situation. It makes me feel hypocritical. I keep forgetting that steve Moore is the victim here.

I'm a die hard Canucks fan, and I remember listening to the game that this all occurred in. I was understandably worried, when they carried steve Moore off the ice on a stretcher.... no one deserves that, no one! And then when i heard that he had fractured his neck.... i was disappointed, that a member of 'my' team had done that.

Following the suspension, the lockout.... the criminal case.... To me, Bertuzzi has paid enough. But I know, if the shoe had been on the other foot, and it was a colorado player who had done this to a Canuck player.. we would all be calling for his head.......

so how can I justify honestly, moving on, and forgetting about it ?

Move on we must. Bertuzzi knows what he did was wrong, and he knows that he has to face the consequences. Alls we can do is hope for the best, hope for a full recovery with Steve Moore...

There are many ifs and buts, many conspiracy theories, on the how, why's ... and perhaps, if Steve Moore hadn't laid that questionable hit on naslund, None of this would have happened! But you can't tell me that proffesional athletes, the coach and the General Manager, met together, and planned for all this to happen !! Thats a bit unbelievable !!!!

alls we can do is try and forget it happened, but at the same time, make sure it doesn't happen again !

Support Bertuzzi... and hope for a full recovery of Moore!!!!!

and leave what happened in the past, in the past!

Oct 13, 2005

no moore !!!

Moore, Bertuzzi case thrown out in Denver !!

Haven't we heard enough of this!

I know I"m tired of hearing about it. Give it up Moore !...

it was a black eye on hockey, I just want to forget about it. I think Moore should just concentrate on getting better, and forget this whole civil suit thing. We hockey fans don't want to be reminded of that night ever again!

JUST SAY NO MOORE !

Oct 9, 2005

2005-06 season has begun

Finally, the day at times felt like it would never come. Hockey is back ! The season started off well, with a win in phoenix, but the team hit a minor speed bump in edmonton! I'm not to worried yet, After all, its only the second game....

Naslund seems to have hit his stride already. Four points in two games. If the other three lines would start getting some points, we'd be in good shape. I still think we are in good shape, but I'd woould have liked to have seen the Canucks start the season 2-0 :)

In the edmonton game, the game was decided on a shootout. I'm not to sure I like that!. Perhaps, if the canucks had won..... i would like it more...

oh well.. next game tommorrow against detroit. Lets hope the team all comes prepared !

Hockey is back, and so is the heartache.... I forgot how disappointing it was to see your team fall short, and lose :)

haha

Work........is not much fun !

Well, I had my first bad shift at work today. It was a pretty normal breakfast, but lunch, that was a whole nother story. It started off okay..but then it fell apart. I had a kitchen worker, walk out, and go home at about 1230, and it just went downhill from there! The servers were making stupid mistakes, running food to the wrong tables, ignoring some tables, a table of twenty.................. i'm not looking forward to checking the email tommorrow, when i'm sure they'll be some guest concerns!

I WANT BRIAN BACK!

I can't do this by myself! The other manager, that works there, i dont know what her issues are, but she isn't helping me at all! I've only been working there for about a week and a half before Brian left for his holidays. I dont know what I'm supposed to know! I am overwhelmed!

I'm hoping tommorrow will be better, and I can make some sense of what I"m supposed to be doing!

I can only hope !!!!

My second hockey game of the season

I got my hockey tickets for wickedly cheap on ebay. I paid 51 bucks, for two 70 dollar seats. Not to shabby, especially for a pre season game. For myself I think a pre season game should be cheaper than regular season games. For some reason, the canucks, just don't see it my way :) ha ha

I took my uncle trevor to the game with me. It was his first hockey game to see in real life. That was definitely pretty cool!

I went down to the lower rows, for the pregame warm up, and got some pretty sweet shots.

HOCKEY.... HOCKEY.....HOCKEY..... HOCKEY....

I'm so glad the NHL is back

The game itself was really entertaining. The first period, it was kinda give and go. The Canucks would score, then the Oilers would score. Surprisingly enough, I would say that the Canucks really outplayed the oilers in the first period. But the oilers made good on the shots they had. The second period, the oilers had more shots than the canucks, but their goaltender ty conklin looked terrible. By the end of the second period it was 6-2 Canucks. All pretty goals. The Sedins with Carter, made up the first line, and they were tremendous! Its nice to know our second line can step in, pick up the slack, when our first line isn't there!

The third period, no scoring, but still pretty entertaining.

The Final Score........... Canucks 6, the Oilers 2

Then the shoot out ! :) I"m not to sure what I think of this way of ending a tie game. Its exciting... but.... i dont know. Thankfully the Canucks have managed to score on a few of them in the pre season. I was getting a little worried, with all our fire power, they weren't scoring there for a while. We managed to win this one, thanks to Daniel Sedin, and Fedor Federov.... :)

On to the regular season

And so it begins

My stress level at work just went from 1 up to about 20. Brian leaves for his vacation tommorrow, leaving ME in charge! WHAT WAS HE THINKING? other than, i'm really gonna enjoy my time away from work.

Tommorrow, the countdown begins, until he gets back, and relieves me of all this responsibility. I dont feel ready! I feel overwhelmed..................

But I can do this, I can!

I dont really have a choice! I have to do it !

He comes back to work, October 17th I believe. Its gonna be a very long 17 days! Let me tell you !

On a brighter note though, that means I work all day shifts while he's gone. I think thats a brighter note anyway! That does mean I have to wake up at 4 every morning. AAGGGHHHHH what have a i got myself into :) ha ha

I CAN DO THIS....

but first I must sleep

4 o clock comes much too early! :)

Sep 27, 2005

TEN YEARS LATER !

My High School Reunion ~ 10 years already !

Wow, how time does fly ! I've been out of high school for ten years. It hardly seems that long at all! We had our Reunion on saturday. It was.... interesting. A bit awkward at the beginning, and all the way through actually :) I found it so anyway :) It was good to see some of the people I graduated with, the people I was friends with and whatever more.

It was also interesting to see, how ten years doesn't change some people at all! The snobs were still the SNOBS......... too good to speak to the likes of me :) haha, ALthough I can't say that for all of the snobs. Some of them had actually grown up over the last ten years, and decided that Maybe it was okay to talk to me this time :) ha ha but what more can you talk about? Whats new? Married single? Working? school? where? after that... what else is there to really talk about it? with people that you didn't really talk to when you were in high school! :)

It was a good time though. Interesting to see how some of the kids had turned out into half decent law abiding citizens..........

Funny to see guys, who made fun of me in grade 5......... and all the way thru highschool, actually be nice to me, ..... haha.... I had to snicker a couple of times, when they came up and said it was good to see me, and all that :) ha ha.... I think I"m still traumatized but what they did to me, in my school years! :) as clear as day, i can still hear them taunting me !

some of the girls............ still, as barbiesh, as ever............ i just wanted to go over there, and rip their little barbie head off......... and say.. BE REAL..... but, i restrained myself

Oh well, I'm well over that.... all in all, it was a good night!

Still can't believe its been 10 years already !

Sep 23, 2005

Things are progressing well

Life is good ! The new job is great! I'm happy again! Happy and at work........ those two words, seem an oddity, in the same sentence, but .. its true. I've rediscovered my inner happiness, with my job situation. Alls it took was a leaving of the old job, and a starting of the new job! I'm sure I"ll have my bad days.......... Especially when I work on a busy day over breakfast! BUt for now, let me enjoy this feeling !

LIFE IS STILL GOOD

Sep 21, 2005

First Shift........

The first shift as a legitimate Coast Hotel Whitespot Employee....... is in the books! I'm feeling really positive, about the staff, the job, everything! Its so wonderful to work with Brian again! Life is good.

There are a few things, that I"m still slightly worried about. The fact that Brian is going on holidays in a week. But I"m hoping and depending the the staff there, can sort of help me thru it, as I get comfortable in the new place

LIFE IS GOOD !

Matt Cooke has FINALLY agreed to terms with the Vancouver Canucks. He will be returning, and we will see # 24 back on the ice with the Canucks. Now, the season can go forward! :) Matt Cooke is a Canuck AGAIN :)

Sep 20, 2005

the party to say goodbye

Well, the party is over and done with. I now fully understand the quote

"parting is such sweet sorrow "

It was a fun night, if one could forget that one was not working with these people again. They got me the coolest gifts to remember them by :) All Canucks stuff, so one would almost think that they knew me pretty well :) haha

The card they gave me, that they all signed, I started to read it, but I couldn't finish it....... I almost started to get teary eyed over it, so I saved it for reading later :) I'm gonna miss them all soooo much! :) They all wished me luck, said I'd do a great job, to come by and visit, don't forget them. gave me a hug, and sent me on my way!

I've had such good times with all of them there. I'll never forget them thats for sure. I just wish I could bring them all with me ! Unfortunately, i can't!

I love you all !

Sep 19, 2005

ITS OVER

My sojourn at the Langley WHITESPOT is over ! Not without one last bout of tears though ! :) stupid computers thought it would be a good day to screw up, and mess up my close. so it took me alot longer than normal to shut down tonite. I ended up having to call squirrel for help! the guy that talked to me was super nice, and got me calmed down, and walked me thru it, so I survived........

on to the new job!

I CAN DO IT YES I CAN

Sep 18, 2005

the countdown is almost over

ONE LAST SHIFT !!!

another shift, has come and gone. The hours slipped by, before I knew it, i was leaving the restaurant for the second to last time! tommorrow is definitely going to be Wierd!

I think I may be a little sad, when I walk out of the doors, for the last time, as a manager... a little apprehensive, a little excited....

crazy!!!!!

Sep 17, 2005

Two More Shifts

What a Night !!!

It was busy, and i worked for the last time, with Gavin, and James. It was sad, for me. I found it sad anyway! :) I've worked for so long with both of them. It will definitely be wierd, not working with them again. I must admit, i was getting a little teary eyed towards the end of the night. How stupid is that eh? I'm so going to miss both of them! I'm sure we will see each other occasionally, but, it won't be the same...... another chapter in my life is closing........and I dont like it!

It makes me so sad, I hate saying goodbye, for the last time.

Maybe at some point in the near future, I'll be glad I made the decision to leave my current job, and try something new.... but right now, I"m regretting it!

what have I done?

Sep 15, 2005

3 shifts

COUNT THEM.... ONE, TWO, THREE,

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, my last three shifts at Langley Whitespot. On one hand I feel relief, on the other hand, Its pretty sad. I've been there for, i guess its the almost 8 year point. Lived and learned, made some pretty good friends.... and now the time has come to move on! I"m excited, yet scared. I guess thats pretty normal though !

I keep telling myself that this is a good move for me. It will be good for me, I'll learn so many new things. Change of scenery... and all that. sometimes I believe myself :) ha ha..... ask me in about a month....... I"ll let you know if I made the right decision! :)

Until then, I will remain positive, and just look to enjoy my last three shifts working ... in Langley. Monday night will be emotional I think... my farewell dinner................ maybe it won't be, its not as if I won't see my friends from work, occasionally. I just won't see them at work.....

THREE MORE SHIFTS! :)

The one year anniversary of the NHL Lockout, is today! Thankfully, there will be a season this year! Training camps are up and running all over the league now. The Canucks are up in Whistler, and things look good for the team this year!

If only Matt Cooke would sign his contract. Rumour has it, that that could happen any time now, so once that happens, things will be looking up for the team. There is always the off chance, that Ronning will sign too. :) One can only hope! :)

Its so great waking up in the morning, and having hockey news to read! :)

Hockey is indeed back !!

AND THE THRILL IS BACK, THE HEARTACHE IS GONE, HOCKEY IS BACK, LOVE LIVES ON.... !!!!

A Bunch of us, went in to the open practice for the fans this afternoon. Just walking into GM Place, seeing the ice, once again, reminded me, why hockey is the greatest sport in the world !

We were there for about an hour and a half I would guess. Watching the players scrimmage. It was really nice to see the big line playing together, Naslund, Morrison, and BERTUZZI. There were a few standouts that I noticed, Fedor Federov shows spurts of brilliance, bursts of speed. Ryan Kesler, also seemed pretty quick on his feet. The new additions, Anson Carter, and Richard Parks also seemed to putting forth a little extra effort to show the fans what they could do! It was really cool! :)

At one point during the scrimmage, Ohlund, tripped Bertuzzi, .... from where we were sitting, you could see Todd glaring at him..... and then Naslund tripped himself, so they were all having a good laugh at their own expense. :) It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere !

I would say that there was probably a good 500, maybe more at the rink today. To see the Canucks as they begin their training camp. It was so fun! It got me really pumped to see the start of the season ! It was over too soon. The fans started to trickle out............. we stayed longer than most. I was hoping they'd come back out, but it was not to be. while we were there anyway.

We finally headed towards the exit, headed out down the street in search of something to eat! We were hungry ! We decided on moxie's, so we headed that way! :) we ate a lovely meal, had great service............ it was around 2 o clock by the time we were done. Andrea, kim, Erin, and James decided they needed to head back, and me and sarah wandered on down robson street! :) about twenty minutes later, I got a call from ERIN, they had run into Richard Parks, and she got him to autograph her hat. How cool is that? Why does that always happen to everyone but me? I never run into hockey players like that! so that was a pretty cool ending to the day for them! :)

Sarah and I enjoyed our wandering down the streets..taking in the sights.... watching the people.

It was a good day! we had so much fun !

On our way back to the car, i took this picture, i dont know if you can tell but the picture, and background is pretty hazy cuz of the whole burns bog burning.....

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SEASON TO START

GO CANUCKS GO !

a well deserved day off !

OPEN PRACTICE FOR THE FANS

Well, today being my one day off this week, I"m gonna be celebrating in style! :) Open practice for the fans today. My first chance to see the Canucks of 2005/2006 :) A group of us from work are going, we leave in about an hour or so! :) It will be a good day! :)

GO Canucks GO ! :)

overwhelmed again !

went out to my new job today, opening shift, long day.....

will i ever feel comfortable there? I feel so overwhelmed. why did I do this? ....

I felt like this when I first became a manager..... so maybe at some point in the near future, I will feel comfortable... with my new job, and new responsibilities !

Right now, I'm almost sick, with worry that I wont do a good job........... that i'll 'fail' , that I wont be able to do it................

you know, the comfortable, wasn't so bad, why did I venture out...............

there has to be a reason somewhere....

but what?

I can do this, i can! I have to believe that I can !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm tired !!!!

How will I survive the long day ahead? its 345, in the morning. Yes, in the morning and I"m preparing to get ready to go to work! I'm not used to this day shift stuff. I"m gonna need lots and lots of coffee this morning, until I feel somewhat normal! I can tell you one thing, if I work day shift on a regular basis, like I'm apparently going to. I"m definitely going to have to get to bed ALOT EARLIER! I"m going into my new job today!, this morning, leaving in about an hour. But I need to have breakfast, do some laundry, and have a shower, before I even think about leaving for the day! Today should be interesting. Meeting, or re - meeting some more people that I will be working with! I hope the day goes okay..... right now I just feel like falling back into bed, pulling the covers over my head, and going to sleep!

i do not feel all bright eyed and chipper, at this point!

Why did I say I'd go in on my day off! this early? after not getting home from work till 1145, and not getting to sleep till 1230?

one of life's great unanswered questions!

oh well, off I go to face the day ahead!

One shift down, four to go ! It was a busy night tonite, we were understaffed, both out front and in the kitchen. It was stressful. But somehow We all survived! It seems wierd that I only have so little time there left!
